The Nordic Seahunter is an extremely stable multipurpose vessel that can be used for a wide range of operations that make demands on both volume and weight.
The vessel’s light weight, manoeuvrability and thoroughly thought out design, make The Nordic Seahunter especially suitable for the collection of plastic waste and for clean-up operations along the coast and in harbours, rivers and lakes. The Nordic Seahunter is an extremely stable vessel, and is well-suited to operations that make demands on high load capacity and flexibility. With just a few quick steps the vessel can be turned into a work platform. In this mode, several vessels can be joined together – either side by side or one after the other. The vessel’s surface is covered in anti-slip material, both on deck and on the rest of the walkways. The hulls are made from a rotationally moulded plastic material which can endure heavy usage and high and very low temperatures. The hull is initially maintenance free. For transportation purposes on land, the vessels can be stacked on top of each other. The hull of the Nordic Seahunter is manufactured as one single unit made of Icorene polyethylene. This material is extremely durable, is UV stabilised and extremely strong in both high and low temperatures. Nordic Seahunters are extremely long-lasting and can be pulverized and recirculated. Nordic Seahunters can be delivered with specially adapted accessories to suit the customer’s needs and requirements. |
